The SunA Poem by Raymie NiteThis is a poem I wrote during an emotional rant of mine. Enjoy!
They’ve decided to cover me. Shun me away.
They have given up.
They refuse to try, refuse to understand.
Like clouds they float pass me.
I’m the sun, in this case.
Bright and filled with energy that I want to release.
But they block my way and won’t allow me to shine.
They cover me, they rain on my parades.
They roar like thunder and strike like lightning.
Sometimes they are big sometimes they are small and thin.
They cover a small part of me occasionally
Other times they change my temperature and my predicated forecast.
I look from a far as they rain and cover me while ruining everyone else’s day.
I began to boil with frustration and I shine through them.
They float away scared of my bright shining rays
They go far away to watch me light the world.
That’s all they can do!
They can just stand back and watch me sparkle with all my hidden emotions that are now brought into the light.
Watch me! I say to these spited clouds.
Watch me, as I enlighten the world with rays you never say coming!
With rays that you never thought I had because you never tried to see them!
Watch me show you something!
