Ever Present

Ever Present

A Poem by SJ. Wheeler
"

Never forget.

"

A fickle candle flame

burning down the day.

To the end of the wick

where it can burn no more.

An ever growing tree

towards a crimson sky.

A lightning bolt ends it

on the ground it can lie.

Turning of the Earth

ever present

Moving forward

sun's accent and descent.
