Damning

Another poem

"

The darkness swells in my heart
Threatening to tear me apart
I was a child happy as could be
Soon the world became clear to me
The destructive nature of mankind.
Overwhelming hate filled my mind
Now I hold the blade to my skin
Hoping that it doesn’t occur again.
That fear will stop the knife
Forcing me to live this damned life.

I can relate to what you went through in this piece. I used to cut myself, I was suicidal, and if the thought is appealing to me I will cut myself. I'm a drug addict and an alcoholic, I have a fucked up life and I'm always in trouble. Great write, well expressed.

Thanks for sharing.
