Dark Fallings (Part 1)

Dark Fallings (Part 1)

A Poem by S.J
"

It's about the Ravens in the tower of London. There was this strange legend about them.

"

I lay awake at night thinking

of a place and a time in a dream

I once had.

I could hear the clock tower in the

distance bellowing! How sad it was

we were apart.

I knew we had only a small chance as

they didn’t fly that night, but fell.

The dream never showed we

would be close again.

As I was dreaming they stopped

flying. And I heard nothing more.

For my dreaming had lost you and

you were the only one that mattered.

That night they died and it fell. I

felt you slip away from me.

I should have been at the base of the

clock tower to save you.

The fog in London is very thick.. I never

stop dreaming.

You disappeared out of my life. A love

long gone, another lost life.

The legend might be real, or it might

be false! I will never know, because

my life time is so far gone.
