LOOKING FOR ANGELSA Poem by SINDEWe want reason for life, why?
Our faces down,
Anxiety- a crown, A glistening on our scalps Pursuing purpose, We count no loss In employing misleading maps Sanity's sought in morphine, Our wants define our doctrine Trying to fill up our empty gaps Illumination's shroud Makes us so proud As we search for life's reason Our souls burn in us Our tongues- wild grass Locking us in entangled prison Illusion's our shrine, Stuck in cloud nine, We are looking for angels... -Sindednis © 2011 SINDEFeatured Review
