Ultimatum

All that happened to me, well except for the last line.

It was that night, we had a fight.

I was a flirt, he was a snob.

The ultimatum, it broke my heart.

I asked for friendship, he gave me none.

 

I tried to change, believe me not.

He got so tired, and left me numb.

I begged for him and even knelt.

His stare was cold, I’m all alone.

 

Now I am here, engulf with fear.

A blade I see, my wrist near me.

I called his name, my voice I hear.

Ending my pain, world farewell.
