ON THE COBBLED PATHA Poem by SHEEMA HUQON THE COBBLED PATH Out in the yard beams a torrid sunlight, silver speckles glisten in the fluorescent whites of lacy patterned trails, delicately abstracted either by slugs or perhaps snails. Cat, glides across these near luminous threads, having scrutinised the radius with his gesticulating head. Briefly settled on a mossy bed, swarms of black ants evacuate at a strident pace.
