MISSING HEAD

MISSING HEAD

A Poem by SHEEMA HUQ

My head felt like it had been took.

A worn and tattered old book.

Loose pages found in a nook.

Pecked and examined by a Rook.

An overburdened coat hook.

Banged about, twisted and shook.

Washed and deseeded, ready to cook.

My head felt like it had been took.
