CRUDE SPRAY

Ghetto blasting, bold effacing, chrome, matt, decadently luminous, head and heart, aerosol attack. Bombastic, raw, rancid, funky, the vigour of the rouge rattling canister fuelled with incongruent velocity. Inflating the chaotic force of convictions, applied to an unassuming surface, with practiced precision.  Memories of loss, of missing people, setbacks, hard facts, fading dreams, inconstant mood alterations, of pertinent obstacles, of all that hinders life, encountered through home grown, visionary, artistic strife. Signifying, youthful urban rebellion, countering decay, defying archaic snobbery, via crazy, unpolished, pro-active, Hip Hop, scribings, hedonistic, street credulous, lavishings, barren, outlandish utterings. Unapologetically gratuitous, edgy, capacious, feisty, denoting, unpassified reputations, meticulous while risky. Lady- Rocket-Head with her companion Boney-Pink-Led, were a graffiti artist duo, both had flunked high school,  both were armed with irrepressible, rude-girl, gusto, as self-publicists and as show-women, marking their colour "filled creations with inconsequential remarks, with unique, brazen patterns, composing of numerous bravado effusing curiosities, including, relationships, skateboarding and escaping urban tyrannies. Though, these were largely interpreted as mere profundities. The dynamic determination, portrayed by Lady-Rocket-Head, concealed the profound inner turmoil of her personal loss, compounding also, her awareness even, of how her vocation, was regarded by some authorities as unrepentant, low level, dross. She was however, undeterred by the latter dilemma as, her eldest sister had sadly died of cancer, during the early hours of that very day; her anguished, tear ridden writing on the wall was to  subsequently say; “A SIZTA’S LUV SHALL NEVA CEASE, LUV NURTURES EAZE LUV NURTURES PEACE, ALL MY LUV” .

“A SIZTA’S LUV SHALL NEVA CEASE, LUV NURTURES EAZE LUV NURTURES PEACE, ALL MY LUV” .

Brilliantly informed, unique writing, wonderful phrasing, vocabulary with a rhythm of its own. As to the end, i gasped - and loudly. Behind most stories, goings-on, artwork of all kinds, there are reasons for being what and where they are. And thereby hangs the tale of two artists with their own extraordinary worth, like or not.
This should be read and read.. it's unusual. And, oh my - just had a thought, now i wondering about your coloured font, surely not.. or .. maybe .. ?!

thank you so much Serenus, for taking the time to stop by, greatly appreciated, my friend
The inspiration and art behind graffiti and the taggers that paint it. It's like the art of jazz, blues, now transformed by rap and hip hop, a young generations art form. An art form of the masses for the masses by the masses. It speaks, it shouts, it absorbs all the color spectrum of light.

I think you've captured it very well in this write. You've channeled the disjointed emotions and fragmented frustrations of this artist and laid it into words that reflect the art. Might be something to go deeper into, layer with more spray paint and grit of life.
