BLACK ICE

BLACK ICE

A Poem by SHEE

FIRE THROUGH THE STONES

SHADES OF DARKNESS

GLOWS OF OCCASIONAL LIGHT

SHOWING WHAT SHOULD BE DONE.

HOLES ON THE END

MAKING FEELS INSECURE

WHICH WAY

SHOULD BE CHOOSED

WAY LOOKS SHUT

BUT, SPARKLES OF THE BLACK

MAKING GLIMMERING LINE

BREAKING THE OUTLET FOR THE SUN.

Amazing description in this poem. I had to read a few times. Last lines were outstanding. A excellent poem.
