Tag, You're ItA Poem by SarahI don’t like them fancy clothes I do my shopping at Second-Hand Rose Faded boots and a worn out hat High pumps, diamond rings, ain’t all that
Talking about how life goes Happy or sad, we raise a toast Shedding tears or laughing out We all have something to talk about Sharing music and seeing fans Makes me wanna change my plans Magic is playing a song With everyone singing a-long Tag You're It Tag You're It Crammed my stuff into a bag Feelin' like I'm playin' tag Mile after mile, again and again, night after night, place to place Two steppin' in the bars I never thought I'd get this far You pass by and wave a hand Then, I'm back on stage with the band
I’m headed off to the show Fired up and ready to go It’s not about the spotlight Let’s just have some fun tonight
Sharing music and seeing fans Makes me wanna change my plans Magic is playing a song With everyone singing a-long Tag You're It Tag You're It
