spiraling

spiraling

A Poem by S.E. Conway

i'm falling into all to well known paths

looking at opjercts as ways to end, not last

a last resort in ever thought

a thought of dripping pulse

of fading color

of fading thought

of ending all the fleeting chaos

of the fact that all is lost

all is gone

at last is forgotten it seems

the joys of days ago

the fleeting memories of happiness

of cares and whims and dreams

of when words ment things

these scars are all to old

but the pain renewed

i feel too bold

to open the wounds of past remorse

to open the locked passage of blades and coursing veins

all is gone

all is hastely beridden

insignificant i feel

in the sceme of my life as i have done

what have i done to live more to do more that i do?

nothing

i reply solomly tomyself

nothing have i done, to deserve to stay another day in this world.
