A Poem by S.E. Conway

i watched you pass by                a spark in you eye
i fell for you right then and there
              you were that guy
your voice was comforting              no idea why
my heart raced        every time
 you would walk by
my mind was and still is scattered
                           shattered
                                  illusions run wild
                        in what was my mind
you ran with my sanity                  held it far off
             not to return
                   what i had lost
i love you             my sweet
                              sensual      solid
    man
never did i realize           how much you would mean to me
          how much you would
                                    mean
  so much
                            to me
now i am falling into pieces, your only catching
                     the fragments
of me           of us            of me all over again
I'm falling apart, and you arms
        are
          no where
            to be seen
i love you            and i don't know what to believe in anymore
i used to think that i could do anything
then i didn't
   i thought i was beautiful
and then again
   i didn't
and i still don't
and never will again
     i see myself as dust
under
  your
   feet
under the world
overtop of me
