The Thunder of Pain

The Thunder of Pain

A Poem by C.N.Moore

My bright skies turn so gray with indecisive rain,
my soft clouds of happiness fill with the thunder of pain.
That rainbow that once shone so very bright,
Bleeds now only red, I cringe at the very sight.
All the life around me decays and fades away...
I'm left with vast emptiness to wallow in each day.
There is no end in sight this storm will only progress,
with every drop of hateful rain I embrace this darkness.

When our bright skies turn gray, it is as you say.....no end in sight, and the storm rages on! Embracing the darkness just passes time until the light may shine through again....may it come back to quickly!
Good rhyme to thoughts so full of sadness.

Your melancholic verses were as deep as the dark clouds...may you overcome the darkness and see the sun again..sunny days are yet to come...rainy days and darkness has it's own beauty..pain and darkness makes us strong and wise...every cloud has a silver lining!
enjoyed reading your heartfelt verses in a rainy day like today!
