Guide Me Home

Guide Me Home

A Poem by C.N.Moore

A tiny flame so far out,

burns so bright without a doubt.

Her flame pulls me in through the night,

I set my sails for her light.

The waters anger knows no end,

a constant battle between bitter friends.

Waves so mighty they knock me down,

for her bright light this ship is bound.

She guides me when I cannot see,

through the darkest night and harshest sea.

She’s constantly growing as I sail,

she lures me in and never fails.

Without her hand to guide me home,

lost at sea my ship would roam,

every time I leave for sea,

I promise, again.. with her I will be.
