Sting

Sting

A Poem by MaybeDreams37

Everyone's in love and I'm in luck.

You're as no one as they come
and as disaster as I'll go.

And I swear it's nothing more than "what's your name?"
And I know it doesn't matter anyway.
But I'd rather be your trophy than alone
'Cause I know once the music stops

It's done.

And if you're not looking for love then you're in luck.
I'm not built for tomorrow or forevers.
Don't waste your time with compliments and holding hands.
Just look in my eyes and make me believe you understand.
Pull me closer and pretend that I'm your all
And when the music stops, kiss me goodbye

 Watch me fall.
