Fall Is Over

Fall Is Over

A Poem by Spencer Barker

With my greatest regret,
with my roundest tears,
Fall is no more.
The leaves have stopped,
resting in place the nearest grave to sleep,
their last sway in what trend.
Forgive me,
it is not my fairest time,
not my most coherent word,
but please believe me for I might come again next year.
