Yet We Are

Yet We Are

A Poem by Spencer Barker

Winds soar,
the highness our tops hold,
in breaking its gore.
Hands are held,
fingers intertwined,
the branches of last falls sprigs in bind.
Pitterings of patterings sprinkle,
their tails let go,
no matter,
we never say no.
