Dinner DateA Poem by SAZWhat would you do, if during the middle of our conversation about school or the economy, I stopped. I moved a little closer. I took your palm in mine and examined every line, and shape.
What would you do if I brought your palm to my lips and kissed it slow and soft; if I leaned into your body--all lean and man and laid my head against your shoulder.
What would you do, If I looked up, fire in my eyes and kissed a path up your jawbone to your cheek; to each corner of your mouth.
What would you do, if I leaned in eyes closed and kissed you. Tentative first-- little nibbles and then… powerful, passionate, releasing a lifetime of pent-up emotion?
What would you do if I told you I’ve never been kissed? © 2010 SAZ
