The seed

is it pointless?

The seed

 

as i move through life i have come to realize

that many lives in the grand scheme of things arent so great 

change never comes 

unless by its own

 

what will many in this world do 

to change the world   

when all their life 

they have contributed mediocrity  

 

No one strives for greatness 

No one has any pride 

Dignity is a dying breed 

And no one is planting the seed  

 

Thus i will do my best 

to leave my mark on the world 

to be remembered by my deeds 

to change the world  

 

i cannot sit idly by 

while this life it slowly dies 

i must do something 

to make up for the slack others have made 

 

i know im not alone 

hopefully there are others 

the last of this dying breed 

trying to plant the seed.
