Part One: Why

my thought process and look into what exactly happened in my past relationship or at least why she left me.

Part One: 

 

Why?  

 

 

The most unanswered question of all

The one i ask you today

The one that needs an answer

The one i shouldnt have ever had to ask you at all. 

 

You said you loved me

You said you would never leave me

You said i was the one

You said you would marry me. 

 

Why would you say these things

And do the exact opposite

If you meant them so

Then i must ask as a man of logic....... 

 

Why is it so?

this describes too many relationships that i know that have been filled with broken promises and irked by the stench of betrayal...i can relate 100% to what you're feeling in this poem...love is blind and decieving

Most girls say one thing and mean another thing but it seems more like she may have said that to prolong a relationship, but simply never meant to hold true to her promise. There are not grammar problems that would get in the way of understanding the poem so why would someone correct you?

Was the "said" supposed to be read emphasized? That's what I got the feeling while reading this true poem.
