love,life and happiness

love,life and happiness

A Poem by Alicante lullaby
"

a two minutes nonsense....

"

Rigid as in her own personal rigor mortis;

The dark eyed girl carries her bastille in her purse

locked up somewhere inside her mind;

Cars  and birds make similar images

and where the scalding sky chops the tree tops off

there is gaping hole

a rather inviting one

(living always brings you  holes)

unconcerned she shuffles away clumsily in her suede shoes;

A rather contended tiny thing

handling with care her newest diversions

  love,life and happiness

ha ha, love life and happiness are diversions

Love the idea of "bastille in her purse" great line. And the rest of the imagery was a little surprising, in a good way, like images from a dream that estrange yet enlighten.

'and where the scalding sky chops the tree tops off
there is gaping hole'

some great lines in this, the images unexpected and engaging, liked the Plath poem on your author page too.

There's something about tiny: can be large tiny, mid-size tiny or, plain tiny tiny .. but always there are touches of majesty or imagination or both held in a strong shrug of self. And, that dark eyed girl wears it all with flair and of course, that essential trio of necessities .. love, life, happiness.

Clear as clear can be ..

Living always brings you holes, it is true. But then unconcernedness is even truer thinking of the number that today the living dead amount to. Then love and life and happiness, where from meaningfulness they stand if they mean anything or stand anywhere at all? This is an illness that doesn't really look one in the eyes, I think.
