to an octogenarian crush...

to an octogenarian crush...

A Poem by Alicante lullaby
"

and 47 is not octogenarian, stupid girl... an almost vent write,i think...

"

because,

i have a filthy concept of modesty

its easy for me to slip out of my dress,

it was easy then,

its easy,right now,right here,

i'm adept in embracing

my brown,dark brown bareness.

In this huge Hamam of world

where everyone is naked,

i know i can do pretty well

but what of you.

what of your white coat

and your immaculate,dry cleaned,shrouded self...

don't catch cold from over exposure, it's a little drafty

I would say do not change any of it ..i see your heart here and the vulnerability that all of us have but few dare to wear it on sleeves ..those who do like you are true to themselves.

I liked very much the image of the Hamam and the slipping out of clothes... It seems as though the easy ways of the poet are not matched by the stiff formality of the man in the white coat... the steam swirls around but he remains unmoved...
