The Water Will Fall

The Water Will Fall

A Poem by The Doctor

The Water Will Fall

As the ocean tides rise, the water will fall.
As my heart burns, I will grow tall.
The seas are mighty and great, the wind carries a song.
Everything in life seems to be so long.

The sun will set low, the water will fall.
Rivers and trees, square root and circular ball.
What wonders are out there, all hopes and dreams come true.
Like colors of a rainbow, red, orange, yellow, green and blue.

Night is dawning, the water will fall.
Light as a feather, but also a brick wall.
Find me in the light, and shine upon me.
Always let what will be, be.

Tomorrow will make us stronger, the water will fall.
In the distance you'll see a shadow, through a narrow hall.
In all hope and wisdom you will understand one day.
Through all courage and determination, something new will lay.
