The Child Speaks of Worlds

The Child Speaks of Worlds

A Poem by S.Tessier

The Child Speaks of Worlds

I've known worlds so strange.

Worlds that not a single soul has seen.

I've seen worlds so beautiful.

And worlds where no one can be mean.

I've seen worlds so destructive.

Worlds where no one wants to be.

I've gone to worlds of both good and evil.

Worlds where flowers grow and romance sparks.

Worlds where fire flies,

And world where no one can stay alive.

Yet in the end the worlds just disappear.

Or at least all the worlds but one.

That's where fantasies fall back into reality once more.
