My Punishment.A Poem by SamThe human brain can have a lot of thoughts going through his/her head. This is about a man with emotions running through him in under the seconds it takes him to walk in those 50 steps.Thump, thump, thump, It hurts, but sadly I deserve it, I look up through my tainted eyes, Seeing the revolted looks of people I never knew to hold such hate, My trial quick and discreet, To know I have made all of the seven sins, I have broken the rules forbading mortals from causing it, My mantality has been tested and recognized, I stray my sight from the unrelenting crowd, I see the man who will pass the judgment of my death, Feeling my emotions suddenly appear before me, Hating myself to show fear at the last point of my existence, I look at the weapon that will make my lifes descision, A glint on the tip of the weapon, A glint so bright some shield their eyes, Those without my punishment see a shiny weapon, I see a weapon of mass destruction and pure evil, I shut my eyes and stumble, Realizing my imagination is slowly killing me inside, I open my eyes and walk with a bravado behavior, A quick death is a cowards way to unpunished beings, Yet for the punished like myself, It is an excusable cost, I gaze at the children with their parents, Just like their parents, I see the hate, Yet I can still see the freshness of it being learned through their eyes, Why? I ask myself, What makes a pure hearted child let evil envelope them? Probably with purity comes the power to be gullible, I look up and see what my numb body brought me to, My neck itching on the wood, Seeing the balade come down to kill me, I regret my losses and wins.
