My Heart

Ok, this was written to someone near and dear to my heart. Hence.... My heart.

My heart was God's to put away,

Until He decided it was the day,

To let me fall, as He planned,

Right into your capable hand.

 

My love, prolonged, will now extend,

Past the point of which my heart could mend.

My heart now yours, the consequence I bear,

If this fails, and my heart tear.

 

My faith in you excessive,

My love for you progressive.

As the chance of tear is lessing,

I shall always consider you God's blessing.

 

I jest not in what I say,

These words are true and real.

Yet, I wish there was some way,

To express how I truly feel.

 

But until the day I can say,

"I love you in every way."

My heart with you it shall always be,

From now and for all eternity.

Author's Note

Ok, So, This is obviously for somone special. It's for my boyfriend. We met on totally coincidental circumstances that we both believe that only God could have done..... it was truly magical.
