Peace Love HappinessA Poem by Sabrina LouisePeace, Love, Happiness Happy, happy New Years’ Eve, In and out of the world we weave. A world of joy and a world of peace, Anger and pain help us release. There is hope for this world we live in today, That will be there for all of the days. As we bring in the new year, may it be evernew; May happiness be plenty and troubles be few, So with this beginning there comes no end. To the ends of the Earth is the love we send. By Sabrina, Alicia, and Margaret Author’s Note This is a poem my family and I wrote on New Years’ Eve when I was five of six. I thought about changing some of the words and phrases so they went along with the rhythm better, but I decided I didn’t want to change what had already been created. ~Brie © 2011 Sabrina Louise |
