True Love

True Love

A Poem by Rywyn

Faere Queen!
You, your mind,
your poetry

Oh how I love thee and wish to be closer to hear your whispers.

However far
darkstar,
straycat,
Fearnot !

I've no leash
no cage,
nor lost pages

This age is in trust of us
to do what we must
So with this mystery and magick
we bind and bless
our world's renewed
and we grow young again

This new life grows strong
As will be seen
in this summer
gold and green

Come hither Faere Queen and be with me ...
As child, and man, and friend to be...
Blend these seasons one in three
Revel and reveal - these three in one

Earth, Moon, and Sun

Through air and water , mix and measure
Counsel in the arts of pleasure
Held within this hardened stone
We shall mix in breath and bone ...

This is white nice, especially with its use of rhyme and alliteration.

I liked your poem a lot, but what struck me as diferent was the spellings you used. They really give a feeling of something magical, something unique, such as - magick and faere. Not typical spellings, I admit.

You have captured the heart of the loved, put forth by the lover, in such a tender way. This is beautiful.
