Forever Ends

Forever Ends

A Poem by Ryven
"

The always cliche break up venting.

"
Forever you say?
I don't believe it
Your forever
Could only mean today
Forever never lasts
How many forever's
Have you had in your past?
I know by mistake
I've made it before
Soon a day becomes two
A week becomes four
Things happen
People change
Feelings fade
Love's rearranged
Forever just means broken hearts
And tears falling from cheeks.
It cripples the strong
Making them weak
Forever's not real
I'll never try to pretend
Now I know
Forever ends

...I'll never say forever again.

Cliche it is. I read them on a regular basis here. It seems to be a rite of passage that everyone young goes through. However, your poem is not written with the same boring and predictable phrases. You write with a passion and nice diction that makes this an interesting poem. Some deviation from the rhythm that stumbles just a tad, but overall a good written poem.
