Rainfall

Rainfall

A Poem by Ryven
"

I wrote this when I could hear the rain outside my window while I was trying to go to sleep. This poem arose when I thought about other things I could hear, but not see out my window.

"
I write in the midst of darkness
For I do not need the light
To hear the rain fall on ground
This perfect starry night
The air is crisp, the night sky cold
Crickets chirping loudly
Great wise oaks sway in the breeze
Calmly but proudly
