What becomes of the broken?
lonely,
lost,
scared
the ones that cared
gradually diminishing
as if nothing
a story
one untold
unread
pages fresh
but the cover filthy
tattered
remnant
slowly fading
ever a whisper
unanswered hopes
disappearing dreams
and as it seems...
an unawakened dreamer
on fringes of discovery
staring blankly
demeanor cold
that much is told
extremities of exterior
afraid to go deeper
cross the threshold
uncover a new beginning
all forgiven
found in arms of the redeemer
