Freestyle Poem

A Poem by Kyle Francisco

Come on,
off the top of my head
something quick
before the mood is dead
it doesn't have to rhyme
give it time
it'll grow
something simple
let it flow
running true
it takes no course
unbridled passion
limitless dimension
holding fast
didn't think it would last
like these thoughts
feeling caught
for an answer
it spreads like cancer
in dire need
bring it to life
or live in strife
a choice
easy to ponder
hard to make
the way I feel as of late
dissenting spiral
somewhat viral
in silence I wait
all the time to contemplate
chasing a phantom
what a finite mind can't fathom
drawn to this
at my best
I come to miss
letting go
death to persistence
goodbye Zahir

I think here you talk about weaving words to images. It is difficult to write this and make meaning. I liked your creativitiy within the piece and conscious journey of creating poetry. I form poetry by having an image and then come words. this was the perfect title for your text, ambiguity free style from free words and dreaming is then when they exist.
