Provoked

Provoked

A Poem by Kyle Francisco

Hard to fathom
perplexing pattern
I long to be
before the dawn

I am gone
faltering tendency
pushing away
need this place
heavy sighs
faltering heart
invite this dark
blessed with curse

I say nothing
mask this hurt
so alone
clues ridden in dirt
so much I've grown
locked in tandem
rifting loves
perpetually drawn
my drug
its not enough

Letting go
feeling bold
still unsolved
mesmerized
thoughts revolve
hit like a hammer
my will explodes
one last time
out of shell
passion erupts

Lots of turmoil. Can feel this when I can't sleep because I am trying to decide something.... can truly relate. Good phrasing and images pop as the words are listed and nearly documented here..... good feel to this.... Provoked is an appropriate title.... for there is truly more than a ripple in this pond....
