A Loss For Words

I feel as though I am at a loss for words.

The state in which I am forced to live.

With people acting so obsured.

Common sense is not to give.

 

So here I wonder;

Day and Night.

Wondering as useless as it be.

I try with all my might.

 

To find an answer not that hard.

To find the ace in life's deck of cards.

Is that what it has come down to?

Life has become a gamble or two?

 

There is no sympathy for the human race.

Hope and Love gone without a trace.

None to be found in any place.

No tears to any face.

 

So, as we move on;

Return to our lives.

Let's just remember,

At least for this night.

 

Let's remember the people who cry;

The people who fight;

And yes,

The people who die.

 

For just this once;

It doesn't seem like that much.

But let's not forget,

Our own lifes as such.

 

I've seen these things;

They're a horrid sight.

It's amazing the things;

That happen in one night.

 

So in my closing words I say;

Let's remember those people in some way.

You think you have nothing to say, that's unheard;

Your simply like me, at a loss for words.
