I die a broken heart but I love you

I die a broken heart but I love you

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

In the twilight's hush, a tale unfolds,
Of love's tender bloom and heart's sorrows untold.
Tonight, I lay my weary soul to rest,
A broken heart beats within my chest.
The stars above, they weep with me,
Witness to a love lost at sea.
Yet in the shadows of the night,
Hope whispers softly, a guiding light.
For though tonight, my spirit may fray,
Tomorrow's dawn brings a new day.
With each sunrise, love's flame ignites,
Burning bright through the darkest nights.
Through tears that fall like morning dew,
I find solace in thoughts of you.
For in your eyes, I see a spark,
A beacon guiding me through the dark.
Though fate may deal its cruel hand,
Love's bond forever shall withstand.
So tonight, I lay my burdens down,
Tomorrow, love's sweet song shall resound.
In the echoes of a broken heart's plea,
I find the strength to set love free.
For in the depths of despair's embrace,
Hope blooms anew, a saving grace.
So let the night claim its toll,
For tomorrow, I still love you, soul to soul.
In the ebb and flow of life's grand art,
Love endures, a timeless work of heart.
