A Missing Heart

A Missing Heart

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

A missing heart, a soul in pain,

A life that's lost, a love in vain.

A heart that once was full of light,

Now lost in darkness, out of sight.

The world is cold, the night is long,

The heart is heavy, the soul is wrong.

The tears they fall, the pain it grows,

The heart it aches, the love it knows.

But hope remains, a light within,

A chance to heal, to love again.

A heart that's lost can still be found,

A love that's gone can still come around.

So, hold on tight, don't let go,

The heart will heal, the love will grow.

For every heart that's lost its way,

There's hope and love to light the way.
