Clonmel

Clonmel

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

Clonmel, my hometown, a place of pride,

Where the Suir River flows with grace and glide.

The town's history is rich and deep,

A legacy that we must cherish and keep.

The town's streets are lined with trees,

A sight that always brings me peace.

The old town hall stands tall and proud,

A symbol of the town's heritage endowed.

The town's people are warm and kind,

A community that's hard to find.

The town's beauty is beyond compare,

A place where nature and history share.

Clonmel, my hometown, a place of love,

A place where the past and present interwove.

A town that I'm proud to call my own,

A place where my heart has grown.
