the red brick street

the red brick street

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

I walk along the red brick street.

Where memories and dreams collide

I see the faces of the people I meet.

Some are happy, some are sad, some are kind.

The red brick street has seen it all.

The joys and sorrows of the past

The stories that make the walls talk

The moments that were meant to last.

The red brick street is more than a road.

It's a place where I belong.

It's a part of me, a part of my soul.

It's where I sing my song.
