Thoughts

Thoughts

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

Depressing thoughts, they come and go.

Like the ebb and flow of the tide

They can be hard to shake, you know.

And they can make you want to hide.

Sometimes they're just a passing cloud.

That quickly disappears.

But other times they scream aloud.

And leave you feeling black and blue.

It's hard to know just what to do.

When these thoughts come creeping in

But know that you are not alone.

And that there is hope within

So, when you're feeling down and out.

And life seems like a heavy load.

Just remember that the sun will shine.

And help you find your way back home.
