Lower Myself Down

Lower Myself Down

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

I'll lower myself down to sleep,

In the arms of the night so deep.

The stars will twinkle and shine,

As I drift off to dreamland divine.

The moon will cast its silver light,

And guide me through the peaceful night.

The world will be quiet and still,

As I rest in the arms of my will.

The darkness will embrace me tight,

And take me on a journey of delight.

I'll travel through the land of dreams,

And explore the wonders of its streams.

So let me lower myself down to sleep,

And let the night my soul keep.

For tomorrow is another day,

And I'll wake up to a brand-new way.
