The Giddy Student.

The Giddy Student.

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

The giddy student, oh what a sight!

He's always up and ready to write.

He's got his pen, he's got his book,

But he's always got that funny look.

He's always laughing, always grinning,

Even when his head is spinning.

He's got so much energy to burn,

It's a wonder he doesn't crash and burn.

He's always got a joke to tell,

And he tells it oh so well.

He's the life of the party, don't you know,

And he's always the first to go.

But when it comes to studying,

He's not the best, it's quite puzzling.

He's always got his head in the clouds,

And his grades are never quite allowed.

But we love him all the same,

And we wouldn't want him to change.

The giddy student, oh what a sight,

He's always up and ready to write.
