The Soul Who Never Left.

The Soul Who Never Left.

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

In the realm of dreams, where spirits reside,

There lived a soul, who never left our side,

Though unseen by mortal eyes, it remained,

A guiding presence forever sustained.

Through the darkest nights and brightest days,

This soul embraced us in countless ways,

In whispers of wind and gentle caress,

It offered solace, a tender address.

In moments of doubt, when hope seemed lost,

The soul's gentle touch, like a soothing frost,

It whispered courage, and strength untold,

A beacon of light, in a world so cold.

Through trials and tribulations, we faced,

The soul's unwavering love embraced,

It held us close, in times of despair,

A constant reminder, it was always there.

In laughter and joy, it danced and played,

A symphony of love, that never decayed,

It celebrated with us, in every delight,

A companion unseen yet shining bright.

In the depths of sorrow, it held our tears,

A comforting presence, to calm our fears,

With empathy and compassion, it consoled,

A guardian spirit, forever enrolled.

Though the soul never left, it taught us to see,

That love transcends boundaries, eternally,

For even in absence, its essence remains,

A bond unbroken, that forever sustains.

So let us remember, this soul so dear,

Whose love and presence, forever nearby,

In our hearts it dwells, a cherished part,

The soul who never left, but lives in our heart
