The Hospital Radio Clonmel

The Hospital Radio Clonmel

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

In the halls of healing, where hope resides,

A voice emerges, where music abides,

Through the airwaves, a melody so clear,

The Hospital Radio Clonmel, drawing near.

With dedication and love, they bring a smile,

To patients' faces, even for a while,

A soothing balm, for hearts in pain,

The power of music, their beautiful refrain.

From dawn till dusk, their voices soar,

A symphony of songs, to the core,

They lift spirits high, with every note,

A healing rhythm, that keeps hope afloat.

In rooms of white, where illness dwells,

The Hospital Radio Clonmel, their magic swells,

They bring comfort and joy, to those in need,

A musical embrace, a selfless deed.

From golden oldies to modern tunes,

They cater to all, like a gentle monsoon,

Their playlists crafted, with love and care,

To bring solace and peace, in the healing air.

Volunteers united, with a common goal,

To touch lives deeply, to console,

Through laughter and tears, they stand strong,

The Hospital Radio Clonmel, a healing song.

To the patients and staff, they lend an ear,

A friendly voice, to wipe away fear,

Their dedication shines, like a guiding light,

Bringing warmth and comfort, day and night.

So let us celebrate, this radio's embrace,

The Hospital Radio Clonmel, a beacon of grace,

For in their music, lives are transformed,

A testament to the power, that love performs.

In the halls of healing, where hope resides,

The Hospital Radio Clonmel, their music abides,

A symphony of compassion, that will never cease,

Bringing comfort and joy, to find inner peace.
