Why do I love him.

Why do I love him.

A Poem by Thomas Ryan

In a world of chaos, a beacon of light,

His presence so warm, his smile so bright.

Why do I love him, this man so dear?

A question that lingers, year after year.

His heart, a haven, a place to reside,

where worries dissolve and troubles subside. His eyes, like windows, deep and sincere,

Reflecting a soul that's both kind and clear.

His touch, a gentle, soothing caress,

Sending shivers of joy, my spirit to bless.

His laughter, a melody, sweet and sincere, lifting my spirits, banishing fear.

His words, like whispers, soft and kind,

Echoing truths that ease my mind. His love, a fortress, strong and true,

Protecting my heart, seeing me through.

Why do I love him, this man so dear? Because he's my anchor, my solace, my cheer. He's the sun in my sky, the moon in my night,

The guiding star that makes everything bright.
