The Girl by the RiverA Poem by RyanReyThe
Girl by the River The
crystalline stream flows with the thoughts Reflected
from the girl’s eyes rushing with emotion, light, and Dreams.
A present sense of peace Infuses
the moment that can’t seem to keep beat With
the hands of man’s measured time: a lie suggesting Moments
as these can be captured and weighed with ease, that Memories are equal for all
who behold the same scene, For
all who behold this one stream. But I tell you, where one sees
death, She may see life, And where one feels hate, He may feel love, And that is what he feels. That is what I feel. © 2015 RyanRey |
