Facade

Facade

A Poem by Ryan Miller

I act so fine,

when I'm broken inside.

I joke and i play,

as my hope fades away.

I lie everyday,

with a smile on my face,

I wish you could see,

I feel like no one believes in me.

My hope is eroding,

my dreams are recedding.

I'm not okay,

but i have to go on each day.

I'm just a facade.
