Hide and Seek.

Hide and Seek.

A Poem by Ryan
"

Just practicing (:

"

Take hold of the host

Split open its back.

When you pull out the stuffing,

There's no turning back.

A body of rice.

A crimson thread.

Sew up the split,

You have a host for the dead.

A piercing weapon

With boundries of salt.

The host shall awake,

The host shall not halt.

A ten second rule,

To hide away.

The TV flicksers.

You survived this new day.

back to this room,

Where the ritual began.

Now it's your turn,

To find the host for the damned.

You turn your back,

In this room it no longer lyes.

The host is watching you,

With it's dead button eyes.

I like this, but it could be more gory lol (joke) but please do tell that backround of this 'cause it's a bit confusing that it seems to be a teddy bear (or some other stuffed toy) that's being sacreficed, last time I checked it was living animals that were sacrificed (and that was a long time ago) lol.

This is really quite disturbing and I'm not easily disturbed. The ritual killing of, what appears to be a stuffed animal. I did like it, though. I found the imagery created great. The language was amazing, the juxtaposition of innocence, through a childhood game, and the disturbing imagery, work in an almost creepy harmony that makes the reader (or at least me) feel submersed in this place you have created.
Nice write, and I'd like to know more about this ritual, it seems ... interesting
