Still Standing

Still Standing

A Poem by Ryan
"

Basically I’m the lighthouse and the hurricane is life

"
Tremendous waves tearing at the sky

as if the meaning to life is just above the thoundering clouds

They scream at the light house

Who is still standing

In this perfect disaster

It’s gleamig light the only Sign of any hope

Shining past the dreadful sea

Only to find that there is no such thing as hope

The rains taunts the ocean as it pours out of the sky but the light house still stands

Alone

In the eye of the storm
In the swirling grey sky
It’s still stands

And it waits

It waits for an answer
That’s in the end
Will never come

So it’s still stands
And waits

In this flawless mistake

only to find tha

I love it! But did you mean to cut off at the end or is it a mistake? Either way, it's really good.

Sound like very nice chanty song. I feel like in some harbour pub where everybody sharing stires and everything else. Very authentic I like it.
