The Willow TreeA Poem by R. W. AdamsChildhood underneath a willow tree.
Far underneath the willow tree
The sacred nature waits for me I peer in through the opening I climb the trunk to be the king I sit up there and watch the sky My childhood dreams go flying by I grasp the branch afraid to fall For at this height I feel so tall I sit alone with my deep thoughts Provoking answers which I sought My mind it rests I'm now at ease Far underneath the willow tree © 2013 R.
